You simply scan the disk once and the program remembers file names, sizes etc. and in my case, I numbered the disk with a safe marking pen. Never again the need to handle my disks except to take out the disk that had the media that I was looking for.
The program only remembered the file name and extension etc, so it couldn't find text inside a file.
I am now hoping that the program will still work for my Windows 7 and 10 computers.
Even though I am slowly moving away from optical disks and into large hard drives, I could still use this for finding those old pictures and stuff.
I wonder if Media universe will help me with indexing my several hard drives?
